November 19, 2014 - Virtual Forge introduced version 2.0 of SystemProfiler for protecting and managing SAP System configurations 2.0.
Virtual Forge raises SAP security monitoring with comprehensive checks of NetWeaver ABAP systems and the validation of NetWeaver Java systems. 23 Java test cases are predefined in SystemProfiler. As with all test cases, those, too, can be extended, adapted or applied to additional scenarios by the customer.
Another highlight of version 2.0 is the integration of the operating system. 18 pre-configured test cases check the security between the operating system and SAP. It's not only the expansion to additional platforms which turn SystemProfiler into a comprehensive configuration solution. The ability to manage blacklists and whitelists were simplified and expanded.
In addition, the management of customer-specific security policies has been improved. Special attention was paid to the Finding Manager within SystemProfiler. The Finding Manager as the central point of entry for working with SystemProfiler makes it even more comfortable to overview the current state of the entire SAP system landscape and take necessary measures.
