June 27, 2011 – VISIBILITY.net version 8 is now available for existing and new customers. This release boasts over 100 product enhancements, new reports, global features, and support for new technology. In addition, Version 8 offers a new Warehouse Management module, allowing for wireless handheld bar coded inventory transactions. Version 8 includes enhancements to Microsoft Excel integration capabilities throughout the product.
Over 400 lists in the system can now be exported to excel, by end users, with a single mouse click. There are also several new capabilities for improving the ease of data loading from external sources, via Microsoft Excel, for things like budgets and move tickets. Paperless Kanban inventory functionality has been enhanced, as well as the multi-entity & multi-currency reporting features of the Financial Consolidator. One click purchase order supply creation compliments the already easy to use MRP functions, and additional override capabilities put more control into the hands of the user. Reports can now also be exported to text as an option.
Version 8 also includes additional web services for integration usage, a new Microsoft Silverlight version of the bar coded labor time tracking system to extend mobility, as well as support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
