July 2, 2012-- VYKON announced the JEC- 234 Controller, for controlling and monitoring building systems including HVAC equipment, lighting, and meters. In addition, the unit is a perfect application for Air Handling Units, Air Washers, Boilers and Pumping Packages. The JEC-234 is engineered with standard Niagara-based Workbench toolset. The JEC-234 serves data and rich graphical displays to any web browser via an Ethernet LAN or remotely over the Internet. It includes an Input/Output module that provides 34 points for local control.
The IO count can be expanded with up to 2 additional 16 point NDIO modules and up to 4 16 point remote NRIO modules. In addition to local control, the JEC-234 is licensed for up to 5 remote devices that can come into the controller via Lon, BACnet, Modbus, or the Sedona Framework. Additional features include support for open protocols, simultaneous stand-alone control, energy management, and multi-protocol integration, The JEC is BTL listed when BACnet driver is used and complies with B-BC (BACnet Building Controller), Two Communications board slots are available for optional communications card, Built-in 24 volt AC/DC input power supply and Din Rail mountable for quick and easy installation.
