Low friction L-Version is for applications demanding continuous duty with high nominal output speed and requiring longer service life.

January 5, 2009 - Wittenstein Engineering has taken the alpha SP+ and optimized components, processes and specs to create L-Version, a low-friction version.This low-friction gearbox is available initially for the high speed versions of the SP+100, SP+140 and SP+180. This product was developed specifically for applications demanding continuous duty with high nominal output speed and requiring longer service-life for continuous duty.Features of this product include:

  • High maximum and nominal output speed - reduced nominal torque
  • Lower heat buildup
  • Lower no-load running torque
  • Higher efficiency
