The event brings together manufacturing professionals with dual responsibilities of career and caregiving.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - April 28, 2025 - The Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) announces that its fifth annual Moms in MFG virtual conference will take place on May 8, 2025. Moms in MFG is both an annual event and a sustained community to support parents and caregivers working in manufacturing. “Caregivers in manufacturing face real challenges when it comes to balancing their responsibilities at home and on the job,” said WiM President and Founder Allison Grealis. “The Moms in MFG Conference is designed to provide practical strategies, tools and a strong support system to help them navigate those challenges.

By connecting caregivers with peers and resources, we’re helping to create workplaces where they can succeed both personally and professionally.” With presenting sponsor Southwire, the 2025 Moms in MFG virtual conference allows participants to join from anywhere and fit the program into their already busy schedules. This year’s event includes sessions that promise key insights that can be applied immediately to help parents and caregivers in the workforce succeed and thrive.

Sessions include an inspiring keynote by Marti Bledsoe, Founder of a’parently and Principal/Associate Marketing and Communications Director at Ohio State, on navigating caregiving career breaks, a presentation from Melissa Kay Boom of Winnebago Industries on building strong support networks for working parents and a workshop with Dr. Devon Madon, Co-Owner of Madon Sheet Metal, on overcoming impostor syndrome. A panel featuring mothers at PepsiCo will share real-life strategies for work-life balance, career growth and practical “mom hacks.” View the full agenda and list of speakers on the Moms in MFG event webpage .
