Dec. 2, 2025 – Wunderlich-Malec has announced the Grand Opening of its new 61,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Baldwin, Florida. The company has also celebrated receiving its first order, with production scheduled to begin mid-June. Local and federal government officials have praised Wunderlich-Malec's commitment to serving the rapidly expanding electrical grid and power distribution business by building another sustainable and innovative US facility. This new facility complements the company's existing 105,000-square-foot ISO-9001-2015 facility in Winslow, Maine.

Wunderlich-Malec's facilities are cornerstones for providing turnkey power solutions to customers. Wunderlich-Malec stands out in the industry with its ability to self-perform electrical power engineering, physical substation design, protection and control (P&C) engineering, Power Relay Settings, equipment procurement, Integrated Modular Fabrication and full electrical relay testing services. This includes point-to-point connection testing and IEC 61850 communications.

Wunderlich-Malec also offers on-site installation supervision, testing, and commissioning with qualified commissioning engineers. This ensures integration with your existing systems and the delivery of fully operational solutions.
