Y-Plant Alert system provides Alarm Event Sequence of Event Recording and Annunciator functions.
December 13, 2011 - Yokogawa introduces Y-Plant Alert Alarm Annunciation System. The Y-Plant Alert system offers Alarm Event Sequence of Event Recording and Annunciator functions. Alarm Events are time stamped with one millisecond resolution. The key features are:
- Easy configuration.
- "Plug & Play" installation with minimal to no wiring changes required (Y-Plant Alert solution matches existing input connectors for retrofits).
- Event storage in a common, widely accepted SQL database format that allows for easy report generation (including customized reports).
- Security of buffering Alarm Events in the high speed I/O system in case of PC failure ensures no data loss.
Due to Y-Plant Alert’s novel architecture, it is deployed at a fraction of the cost of competitive systems and typical install/test times have been one to two days.
