February 7, 2011 – Yokogawa Corporation of America announces that Chet Mroz has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Yokogawa’s North American operations. Mroz is based in the Sugar Land, Texas office and is responsible for all day to day operations in North America. Mroz is a well-known leader in the industrial automation industry. Throughout his career he has run businesses for Foxboro, Texas Instruments and ABB, as well as held global leadership positions in the United States, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. In addition to his extensive industry experience Mroz is very familiar with Yokogawa.
Over the last 8 years Mroz has advised Yokogawa on a wide variety of projects from market research to M&A. It was during this period in which Mroz obtained his understanding of Yokogawa, its products and corporate culture. “I have personally known Chet since we worked together as young managers at the Foxboro Company in the 1980’s.
