Fibox Celebrates its 30th Anniversary by Donating 30,000 Euros to Local Charities

Dec. 10, 2021 - Fibox, a global leader in enclosing solutions, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. To mark this Anniversary, Fibox will donate thirty thousand euros to charities across the globe helping children, animals and the environment. The Thirty Days of Fibox Calendar (pictured above) mirrors the face of the company.

Fibox is a global organization with roots in Finland and sales offices in 17 countries. Its international offices operate in many parts of the world, such as the United States, Germany, France, South Korea, and China.

'We used our enclosures to build a concrete landmark on the Lempäälä factory yard. The 30 Days of Fibox tells our story, creating a shared experience, bringing our global team closer together, said Tapani Niemi, Fibox's CEO.

Fibox's first recipients include:

'To mark the Anniversary, we want to give back to the areas that have enabled Fibox's success for the past three decades. In December, we will support local organizations working to benefit children, animals, and environmental protection, not only in Finland and Europe, but India, the United States, Great Britain, China, and South Korea', Niemi said.

'We protect our customers' valuable innovations.'

The 30 Days of Fibox calendar was built using ARCA - IEC enclosures made of highly durable and recyclable polycarbonate. The enclosures come in many shapes and sizes, and they are used, for example, for healthcare equipment and in various industries, solar and wind power plants, 5G masts, and EV charging and car-heating stations.

"The enclosures protect our customers' valuable innovations and electrical systems. We have great long-term customer relationships and also high-profile projects in different countries. The most famous is perhaps the Eiffel Tower, whose lighting solutions include 22,000 enclosures from us," Niemi explained.

Sustainability is an essential part of Fibox's business. All existing thermoplastics are recyclable in our production systems, eliminating waste. The donation recipients also reflect Fibox's sustainable values and future visions.

"Our values originate from the family business, and we make a point of placing our operations close to our customers: European products are manufactured in Europe, Asian products in South Korea and China, and American products in the United States. Short supply chains reduce delivery times and the carbon footprint."

"Our proximity strategy and desire to be close to our customers and communities have been the secret behind our success. They will also be Fibox's guiding principles for the next 30 years and beyond," Niemi envisioned.
