Kharsa assumes full operational responsibility for FCI’s industrial process, nuclear power and aerospace business units.

May 15, 2025 - John Kharsa has been appointed general manager of Fluid Components International (FCI) by DwyerOmega, succeeding Randy Brown, who is retiring after 22 years of distinguished service in multiple leadership roles, most recently as FCI’s president. The announcement was made by Naoto Mizuta, president of DwyerOmega, who thanked Brown for his significant contributions to FCI’s growth and performance. “Since joining FCI in 2003, Randy has led FCI to record sales and profitability. We are deeply grateful for his leadership and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement,” said Mizuta. In his new role, Kharsa assumes full operational responsibility for FCI’s industrial process, nuclear power and aerospace business units.

His oversight includes products and services, engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, quality, and profitability. Kharsa will report directly to Mizuta as part of DwyerOmega’s transition to a function-based organizational structure. Kharsa expressed enthusiasm about the new role: “I’m thankful for and honored by this opportunity to lead FCI. The company has a long-standing reputation for delivering the most advanced and reliable precision thermal flow and level measurement instrumentation.

I look forward to building on this legacy.” A respected industry leader, Kharsa joined FCI Aerospace in 2010 as engineering manager and was promoted to general manager of the Aerospace Division in 2020. He brings a wealth of experience in developing and managing high-reliability, mission-critical instrumentation for the aerospace, defense and commercial aviation industries. Before joining FCI, Kharsa served as senior program manager at Hamilton Sundstrand, and as Engineering and Service Manager at Sullair Corporation. He holds an MBA from American Intercontinental University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from Bradley University.

His extensive background in the aerospace and industrial markets positions him well to lead FCI into its next chapter of innovation and growth. A DwyerOmega brand, FCI delivers precise flow and level measurement solutions using advanced thermal dispersion technologies. With more than 60 years of experience and the world’s largest installed base of thermal flow meters, flow switches, and level switches, FCI is the trusted expert in flow and level instrumentation.
