December 15, 2014 - Progea introduces Pro.Lean, a Lean Manufacturing solution that gathers production data and downtime information in real time, preventing any inefficiency or malfunction issues. Pro.Lean is a Movicon module that makes it possible to gather and record production data in auto mode as well as sort information and display it simply and clearly, all while viewing key performance indicators (KPIs) in real time. Thus, it is possible to determine the exact OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), which shows the actual productive effectiveness at the plant, in order to forestall the production system’s weak points and effectively act in order to improve productivity.
The Pro.Lean module is based on Progea’s expertise in industrial automation software, enabling maximum effectiveness and production efficiency. This solution uses Movicon’s Business Connectivity and Data Collection technology, which makes it possible to manage Historian components in fully automated and wizard mode. Data and Dashboards are gathered, while key performance indicators (KPIs, OEE) and reports obtained from sorting data by shift, by date, by operator, by machine or by product are shown in real time, along with highlighted downtime data.
