Available with adjustable sensing ranges or tamper-proof fixed ranges, ML6 sensors operate at ranges from 20mm to 120mm and accurately detect targets while ignoring background objects beyond a precisely defined cut-off range. Housing dimensions are just 14mm x 18mm x 33mm.

August 11, 2006 - TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduces ML6 Photoelectric Sensors. Available with adjustable sensing ranges or tamper-proof fixed ranges, ML6 sensors operate at ranges from 20mm to 120mm and accurately detect targets while ignoring background objects beyond a precisely defined cut-off range. Housing dimensions are just 14mm x 18mm x 33mm.All ML6 sensors include 4-in-1 technology, which allows for four output configurations from one sensor, automatically selected based on the connected load. ML6 sensors are equipped with cross-talk immunity.

ML6 background suppression sensors have very low sensitivity to color, detecting white and black objects to within 10% of the same distance. Small and sharp visible red light beams aid in sensing small parts. Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
