    Vishay releases data acquisiton system for strain gauges

    System 7000 acquires, reduces, and presents data from strain gages and related sensors for stress analysis testing. Users can intermix strain gages, strain-gage-based transducers, thermocouples, and other sensors including those with high-level voltage outputs in groups of eight by choosing the appropriate sensor card for up to 128 channels in a 4U-height, 19-inch, rack-mountable scanner.

    UEI added complete QNX Real Time Operating System (RTOS) support for its PowerDNA series of data acquisition and control cubes. With the new PowerDNA QNX library, QNX developers can take advantage of the deterministic timing afforded by QNX. The Library may be deployed on any host computer running the QNX RTOS and connected to the PowerDNA cube over the Ethernet (10/100baseT).

    Acromag announces digital I/O module with user-configurable FPGA

    IP-EP200 Industry Pack I/O modules provide a user-configurable FPGA for high-performance processing of custom logic routines and a digital I/O interface supporting a variety of signal types. It uses the Cyclone II FPGA for processing user-defined algorithms and custom logic routines. With JTAG access to the SignalTap II embedded logic analyzer, engineers can easily monitor internal device operation.
