The Commander series are AC motor speed controllers that meet advanced requirements in a range of applications. Both models also include an on-board PLC, for embedded intelligence

The sensors are available in an M12, M18, or M30 design. Flush installation provided, the nominal switching distances are 2 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm, depending on the design.

The modules feature a metallic plate for functional grounding; 4-pole and 5-pole power connector versions; Ultra-Lock M12 connectors; an IP67 seal; eight digital channels; four motor drive roller channels; diagnostic LEDs; three rotary switches; a two-port Ethernet switch; an Ethernet metallic plate to allow both ODVA and PI grounding strategies; and Ethernet fieldbus connectivity.

The quick connect technology is dubbed the Han ES Press HMC, with the suffix ‘HMC’ standing for High Mating Cycles. The contact inserts are equipped with a pre-tensioned cage clamp which is triggered by an actuator.

The actuator is capable of a maximum 4,500 lbf (20 kN) seating thrust. The sizes increase the CMA range modulating thrust performance to 3,000 lbf (13 kN) with a 114.3 mm (4.5”) stroke length for the automation of larger valves with higher pressure ratings.

The controller includes optically isolated I/O, outputs capable of driving brakes or relays, and analog inputs for interfacing to analog sensors. The DMC-40x0 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source.

The motor can be driven using either a trapezoidal or digital standard three phase brushless amplifier. The Brushless Linear Motor Coil measures 6.53 in X 7.50 in x 1.50 in [170 mm x 190 mm x 38 mm].

These force-to-size ratio motors are suitable for: Work holding and clamping, medical devices, assembly, testing, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners and laser beam steering and filtering.

A LIM is a non-contacting linear motor that operates on the same principle as a rotary, squirrel cage induction motor. They are used in applications that do not require positioning.

The four X-and-Theta stages in this series feature linear travels of: 15 mm (0.591 in.), 30 mm (1.181 in.), 50 mm (1.968 in.) and 75 mm (2.953 in.), and the rotary table, capable of continuous 360O rotation in either direction, measures 100 mm (3.937 in.) in diameter.

PTFIX distribution blocks offer a range of mounting configurations, including both horizontal and transverse positioning on standard 35-mm DIN rail and “mini” 15-mm DIN rail. PTFIX is also available in other mounting configurations, such as direct mounting with flanges and tool-free adhesive mounting.

The GCL is designed to withstand the frequent start-stop impact loads of industrial robots and other motion control applications with impact resistance five times nominal torque.

The drives now offer an expanded power range, for engineers with applications from 10 to 6,000 horsepower (7.5 to 4,500 kW). The expansion brings harmonic mitigation, regeneration and common bus-system configurations to a range of high-demand applications.

Common applications for the RCN 6000 encoders are large-scale rotary tables and radio telescopes which can adapt their design to the encoder while the integrated stator coupling ensures alignment of the components involved in the scanning process, even if there are deviations in the shaft coupling.

This system offers a user interface designed to be installed directly by the shop-floor employee. This means that no systems integrator is required at any step of the short set up process, and at any time later.

The XR3 can control any combination of brushless, DC brush, or stepper motors at up to 320 VDC operating voltage and 30 A peak current capability.
