Lead Generation
Proven Lead-Generation of Automation & Control Professionals for Marketers
Automation.com provides high quality contact information of automation and control professionals through our various lead generation capabilities.
The lead generation mechanisms are slightly different for each advertising option and we outline those difference for each case. We understand that some regions of the world have more stringent privacy and opt in requirements and we have the ability to comply through customizations of forms. Below is an outline of the various ways we generate leads through our advertsing options.
Leads from Emessage Clicks
Leads delivered from clicks in our email messages (newsletters, digital magazines, content alerts, custom messages, etc.) typically include the following standard fields. Leads from clicks is the least-invasive method for our subscribers because submission of a form is not required to access the link or asset.
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- Country
- Job Function (available for subscribers with accounts)
- Industry Segment (available for subscribers with accounts)
Leads from Digital Magazines & Sponsored Article Opt-ins
Leads are generated in two way for our digital magazines. The first way is from the subscribers who click to access the digital magazine from the emessage notification of the new issue. The second way is from content (article) sponsors when a reader (registered website user) opts in to communication from the sponsor based on the topic of the article. The following fields are provided for leads from digital magazines and sponsored article opt-ins.
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- Country
- Job Function (available for subscribers with accounts)
- Industry Segment (available for subscribers with accounts)
Leads from Webinars
Leads are generated from forms submitted to register for the webinar. We create a custom form for each webinar, which typically includes the following required fields. For single-sponsor webinars, we can customize the fields on the form to meet your needs.
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- Job Title
- Country
- Phone (not required)
Need Additional Fields for Your Leads? Custom Form Capability
Does your lead generation campaign require additional fields? If so, we can set up a landing page for your content asset with a custom form, including all the fields you require. A custom form is most successful when offering a high value asset to our subscribers, like a white paper, guide, report, ebook or other. However, we suggest only requiring a minimum number of fields, so you don’t deter form submissions. There is an additional charge of $500.00 for each custom form.
Lead Delivery
Leads are typically supplied to the advertiser 7-10 days after deployment of a lead generation activity.
Privacy & Opt-in Compliance
Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and share subscriber information with our advertisers and sponsors. With the adoption of more stringent privacy regulations in various parts of the world, we are positioned to fulfill your company’s privacy and opt-in requirements.

- Link to Excel file should be sent to Sponsor in one email.
- Password to the Excel file should be sent to the Sponsor in a second email.
If the host platform supports password protected access to reports, we can utilize the host platform for this data exchange. For example, vFairs, our conference platform, offers password protected access of reports for Sponsors.
