Clarity's worldwide engineering capability results in new, larger LCD and DLP display systems that offer more options for customers, resellers and systems integration partners

Clarity's worldwide engineering capability results in new, larger LCD and DLP display systems that offer more options for customers, resellers and systems integration partners Orlando, Fla.- (InfoComm 2006) - June 8, 2006 - At InfoComm 2006, Clarity Visual Systems is introducing its next generation of networked display systems designed to present dynamic visual information. These new systems, which include large-scale LCD and DLP displays, represent best-in-class solutions for control room and digital signage applications. Clarity's innovative engineering and content services capability, bolstered by its acquisition of Synelec and CoolSign last year, has enabled the company to deliver powerful new options to value-added resellers, systems integrators and end-user customers.

"We have combined the strengths of three companies under the Clarity brand, and created an innovative line-up of new products and services," said Paul Gulick, Clarity founder and CEO. "At the same time, we have created an organization with a level of support and responsiveness which exceeds that of any other display manufacturer in the market worldwide." Clarity's growing family of products on display at InfoComm reflects the company's unique focus on its established control room systems markets and its fast-growing digital signage business.

Control room systems tailored to data and video-rich applications Clarity is introducing products for video-rich applications in broadcast and security control rooms, and data-intensive products for network operations centers where the large-scale display of detailed information is essential to mission-critical decision making.

The new displays are:

• SP Series - Next-generation, rear-projection displays using Smooth Picture DLP technology for exceptional video performance. Available in 50, 67 and 70-inch (wide screen) diagonal sizes, these displays will be particularly appealing to video-intensive applications such as security and broadcast monitoring. They also incorporate Clarity's new proprietary (SiFi) technology that monitors and automatically balances both color and brightness over the life of the application.

The SP Series will be sold in long-life and high-bright versions. • m57L - A very large-format (57-inch diagonal) direct view LCD monitor with high-definition 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution for data-intensive applications. • Digital signage systems make enterprise deployments easier. • The company is introducing a new series of integrated digital signs that define simplicity. Based on 40-inch and 46-inch LCDs, the iS40 and iS46 incorporate software and electronics to create a true digital sign that is as simple to deploy as printed posters.

Out of the box, each is fully functional as a stand-alone sign or ready to connect as a fully managed node within a CoolSign network scalable to tens, hundreds or thousands of displays. • iS Series - The newest members of Clarity's integrated sign family are 40 and 46-inch digital signs with simplified plug and play features, wireless networking capability and audio. These products add to the previously-introduced iS60 and create a new standard for digital signage applications. The iS40 and iS46 will begin shipping later in 2006.
