March 30, 2017 - AAEON, the designer and manufacturer of aindustrial and embedded computing platforms announced the FWS-7821. The FWS-7821 builds upon the FWS pedigree as intelligent security appliances featuring IPMI, TPM, Unified Threat Management, and Intrusion Detection & Prevention.
Designed around the 7th Generation (Kaby Lake) Intel Xeon processor, the FWS-7821 supports up to 64GB DDR4, 5 x 2.5” SSD, and 2 x 40GbE QSFP to deliver processing, throughput, and low latency.
The 1U design includes I/O including, 8 x GbE, 2 x SFP, 2 x PCIe cards (x8), 2 x USB 3, and CFast enabling the FWS-7821 to adopt an array of composable configurations and customizations for integration into new and existing infrastructure deployments.
The FWS-7821 is capable of supporting a range of configurations to ensure deployment in network environments. The SDK further enables customization in addition to real-time telemetry, analytics, and management.
