August 22, 2017 - AAEON launched the RTC-1200SK, a multifunctional, military grade tablet computer for industrial heavyweight machinery and equipment.
The 11-inch RTC-1200SK is designed for longevity and reliability, and is built to withstand rugged environments, operating at temperatures from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), and boasting a voltage range of DC 19V/3.42A (65W). Wireless communication is provided via a BCR, along with full I/O. Access to barcoding and verification is consolidated, facilitating a configurable operation.
CANBUS support is also available. An NFC is embedded within the RTC-1200SK, supporting contactless tap-and-go connections to expedite processes and workflows. Visually, the RTC-1200 is designed to provide graphic display support, with an output of 1000 nits and a unique RGB feature, enabling users to adjust the vividness of their screen display along with brightness control. It is particularly notable for its sunlight readable display, many of which take place under harsh sunlight.
Of particular note is AAEON’s decision to consolidate the RTC-1200SK with a full series of in-house accessories, which can be additionally purchased based on the customer’s needs and requirements. Accessories include a rotating hand-strap and a shoulder belt for easier access, a mounting bracket (VESA/RAM), AAEON-specific batteries, a battery charger, and a vehicle docking device.
