The contract also includes detailed engineering, programming and system configuration, acceptance tests, start-up and customer training."
ABB was able to fulfill all of Ecopetrol S.A.' s technical, financial and legal requirements," said the Evaluation Committee of Ecopetrol.The new Industrial IT-based control system will allow Ecopetrol's headquarters, along with three remote sites, to be connected via satellite.
