March 6, 2011 - Eight-page brochure describes the 2600T family of innovative pressure transmitters from ABB. The brochure highlights a comprehensive range of pressure measurement products, stressing reliability and simplified installation and configuration. Diaphragm seals feature all-welded technology. According to the brochure, the 2600T family of transmitters employ a user friendly human machine interface (HMI) that allows simple and intuitive transmitter set up and operation. Communication protocols available include HART/4-20 mA, PROFIBUS PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and MODBUS.

Also discussed and tabulated is the portfolio of diaphragm seal materials and coatings available, permitting application in virtually any setting--process, industrial, or laboratory. The brochure next details the specific benefits of the 261, 364, and new 266 series within the 2600T transmitter family. For example, the 261 and 364 space-saver pressure transmitters with stainless steel housings offer an optimum solution for extreme environments where space and weight are critical. The SIL2 and SIL3 certified 266 series permits upgrades from HART to alternative communication protocols in minutes. Using its exclusive Through-the-Glass display technology, operators can interact directly with the 266 transmitter without removing the windowed front cover.
