May 2, 2011 - Full-color, 12-page brochure details ABB measurement solutions for offshore oil and gas operations. The brochure has a review of the company's portfolio of measurement products that provide cost-effective solutions, ranging from topside instrumentation to subsea wellhead flowmeters. A comprehensive grid tabulates which products apply to the various offshore functions, such as drilling, wellhead, separators, water treatment, gas lift, compression, and utilities. Several pages detail the benefits of specific ABB solutions for offshore oil and gas operations, including pressure, temperature, analytical, and level. Also described is ABB's wet-gas metering for applications involving dual-phase flows.

This meter combines the beneficial characteristics of a Venturi tube with ABB’s proven correction algorithm and the latest transmitter technologies. A collage of ABB's measurement products follows to demonstrate the breadth of solutions available. Concluding brochure content summarizes the services available from ABB. According to the brochure, ABB provides support from the planning phase through to commissioning and full lifecycle servicing. Servicing agreements have the flexibility to exactly match customer needs.

Finally the brochure notes that ABB minimizes customers' risks and saves costs by providing integrated solutions as the main contractor for both automation and electrical work. ABB is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impact. The ABB Group of companies operates in around 100 countries and employs about 124,000 people.
