Translation of acronyms: ACI acquired ACT’s Interface Control Components (ICC) line to provide I/O for its HVAC systems used in building automation systems.

January 10, 2011 - ACT’s Interface Control Components line is the sole property of Automation Components, Inc. ACI invested in this acquisition to build on the product line and customer base that ACT has built over the past 20 years. ACI has made a name in the HVAC Industry by providing high quality products with first rate delivery times, and customer service. ACI’s motto is “Engineering a Better Sensor Solution” and this is a major strength of our company.

However, ACI relied on an industry leader to provide us the best possible solution for our customers and purchased ACT’s ICC product line.Interface Control Components (ICC), also known as interface modules, are primarily used to transfer, modify, condition and isolate signals between computer controllers and sensors. Interface Modules help Building Automation System managers address the need to improve energy efficiency, regardless of the software, firmware or hardware involved.ACI has committed to the long-term success of this line. Our sales staff is undergoing extensive product training and the entire company has embraced the task of supporting this line with ACI’s outstanding service.

"Ultimately, we feel that by acquiring another“solution based” product line the combination of the two will provide the HVAC /R Industry a compelling single-source option. In addition, we look forward to forging new business relationships via this acquisition and cementing even stronger ones with our current customers."
