May 24, 2011 - Acromag promoted Rowland Demko to National Sales Manager for their Embedded Solutions Group. Previously serving as Acromag’s regional sales manager for the Western United States, Rowland will now oversee all sales operations in North America. He has a wealth of technical and sales experience in embedded computer technologies and numerous industries including defense, aerospace, manufacturing, scientific research, and telecommunication. He will report directly to Embedded Solutions Marketing and Sales Director Joseph Primeau to manage Acromag’s sales activities and representation in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
“Over the past five years with Acromag, Rowland has applied his experience and knowledge of embedded technologies to successfully service the needs of many customers and Acromag’s field sales representatives,” said Joe Primeau. “With this promotion, Rowland will assume responsibility for all North American sales offices and strategic accounts. His direction is to ensure our sales representatives and internal staff are well-prepared to assist customers in the selection and implementation of embedded I/O and re-configurable FPGA solutions.” Rowland is a graduate of Case Institute of Technology with a BS in Computer Engineering.
Previously working with Rockwell Automation, he served in many roles including managing real time systems engineering, automation product marketing and development, international business development and strategic marketing. Acromag has designed and manufactured measurement and control products for more than 50 years.
