IBS has purchased sixteen Adept Cobra i600 SCARA robots which will be used to build an automation line for high speed assembly of a class II medical device for a major international customer.The Cobra i600 robot was selected for its flexibility, speed, precision, intelligence and cleanliness and provides IBS with a robotics platform capable of equipment recapitalization, higher throughput, tighter assembly tolerances and more complete product traceability than alternative robotic solutions.
