Adept Technology appoints Michael Jellen VP

Jellen joins Adept after more than 10 years with Danaher Corporation, where he held successive roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president and general manager for various business units.

November 20, 2014 – Adept Technology hired Michael Jellen as Vice President for North America. “Mike is an accomplished leader who comes to Adept with more than twenty years of experience in the motion industry guiding sales, marketing, engineering and operations efforts to success,” said Adept CEO Rob Cain. “His focus will be on accelerating growth in North America. We are excited to welcome him to the Adept team and look forward to his many contributions.” Jellen joins Adept after more than 10 years with Danaher Corporation, where he held successive roles of increasing responsibility, including vice president and general manager for various business units.

Mr. Jellen began his career as an automation engineer with Seagate Technology, applying Adept robotics in hard drive manufacturing, later joining Motion Engineering Inc. in engineering and commercial management roles. He earned his MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management.
