Adept Technology to supply robots to Chad Industries

Robots will be used in CHADIQ Odd Form Assembly Systems.

LIVERMORE, Calif. - Nov. 1, 2007 - Adept Technology has been selected as the robotics supplier by Chad Industries, a supplier of automatic circuit board, solar, and wafer handling equipment, for its CHADIQ Odd Form Assembly Systems.The Adept Cobra s600 SCARA robot and SmartController CX are at the heart of the CHADIQ Odd Form circuit board assembly system.

The design and performance of the Adept Cobra robot enable the CHADIQ to deliver lower cost per placement than previous generation odd-form assembly equipment."
