June 4, 2010 – Advantech announces the opening of Advantech Indonesia. The new office is located in South Jakarta. In 2006, Advantech Singapore selected Eforel Citra Utama, PT to become the first local Premier Channel Partner to promote Advantech as the trusted ePlatform service provider in Indonesia. In early 2010, Advantech Co. Ltd worldwide headquarters decided to form Advantech Indonesia as one of its regional business units to further develop the Indonesian market.
The effort has been rewarding and the growing team of channel management, marketing, and technical support continue to fulfill expansion needs. Eforel Citra Utama, PT has now become a Distribution Channel Partner of the Indonesian Market.Mr. David Soon, Regional Managing Director of Advantech Singapore, said “Indonesia is the largest economy in ASEAN, as shown in the GDP ranking. We should be able to play a major part in contributing to the growth of Indonesia’s industry.
The timing is perfect for Advantech to increase our presence in Indonesia.”Advantech Indonesia comes under management of Advantech-Singapore. Mr. Satish Allampalli, Director Channel Business, will be coordinating closely with Advantech Indonesia for implementing corporate strategies/directions.
Singapore will be the regional supporting hub for logistics, investments, business, marketing, and development activities.Currently, Focus Channel Partner Development is headed by Mr. Iwan Dharmawan who is also the Country Manager for Indonesia. The focus of this dedicated team is to create awareness, training, and supporting Channel Partners and key customers. This new initiative from Advantech will help expand the business and contribute to Indonesia’s economic growth.
