August 6, 2019 - Professional painters can match their clients’ color choices in seconds, with a digital Color Sensor developed by AkzoNobel.

The small portable device can scan color on any object. It then links to a Color Sensor app which provides the paint color match. According to research, up to 55% of clients find that paint color differs from their expectations once it has been applied to a wall. By using the Color Sensor, professional painters can reassure their customers that an accurate color match will be delivered.

Marketed under AkzoNobel’s decorative paints brands – including Sikkens, Dulux Trade, Marshall, Coral and Alba – the Color Sensor is expected to be launched in more countries later this year.
