Fort Worth, Texas – August 14, 2006 - Allied Electronics, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), has signed a distribution agreement with Panduit, a leading manufacturer of wiring and communication products. Allied will distribute Panduit’s entire line of products, greatly expanding Allied’s current offering of wiring and cable accessories. “Allied is excited to add Panduit to our growing list of world-class suppliers,” said Lee Davidson, president of Allied. “We are also pleased to offer our customers the complete Panduit product line featuring a wide range of products in stock and ready to ship.” Panduit products are available on Allied’s web site and will be featured in Allied’s 2007 catalog due out in October 2007, as well as on Allied’s website.
