Altech announces PS-C120 DIN rail power supply
The 120W power supply uses an energy-saving design and offers a low- to medium-wattage power supply solution.

September 28, 2009 - The PS-C120 (120W) series power supply joins the extended family of Altech PS-C240 (240W) and PS-C480 (480W) models.

The power supply uses an energy-saving design and offers a low- to medium-wattage power supply solution offering high performance while meeting space-saving requirements (measuring 40mm in width, 125.2mm in height, and 113.5mm in depth). All three series can especially satisfy the power demands for a wide range of industry applications ranging from factory automation and semiconductor fabrication machinery to marine and electromechanical equipment, among others.Standard features for all versions include a built-in DC OK relay contact enabling users to confirm remotely that the power supply is operating as required, a built-in active PFC function, and 100% full load burn-in test.

The power supplies are cooled by free air convection and incorporate multiple protections against short circuits, overload, over voltage, and over temperature. They mount easily on DIN rails, install with universal AC input (86-264 VAC), and comply with UL508, CUL, and EN61000-6-2 (EN50082-2) standards and (for marine and semiconductor usage) GL and SEMI F47 norms. The power supplies additionally are CE approved.
