AMT appoints Edward Turley controls department manager

September 27, 2010 - Applied Manufacturing Technologies appointed Edward Turley as the company’s new Controls Department Manager. Turley will be responsible for managing the Controls Engineering Department including management of hardware & software design and all field support activities. “Ed has over 25 years of electrical controls design and project management experience and is a very focused and effective leader making him the ideal choice to oversee the Controls Engineering Department," said Mike Jacobs, chief executive officer of Applied Manufacturing Technologies.

“Ed’s record of successfully managing teams of highly skilled engineers coupled with his talent for proactively identifying, documenting and resolving issues makes his appointment an excellent fit and we are thrilled to have him join the AMT team.” Prior to joining AMT Mr. Turley most recently held key management positions at Esys Corporation, one of the largest service providers of open architecture PLC control systems. Prior to that he worked at Electronic Data Systems, a billion dollar global IT outsourcing company, where he was responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of multiple plant IT systems. Mr.
