September 27, 2010 - Applied Manufacturing Technologies appointed Edward Turley as the company’s new Controls Department Manager. Turley will be responsible for managing the Controls Engineering Department including management of hardware & software design and all field support activities. “Ed has over 25 years of electrical controls design and project management experience and is a very focused and effective leader making him the ideal choice to oversee the Controls Engineering Department," said Mike Jacobs, chief executive officer of Applied Manufacturing Technologies.

Prior to that he worked at Electronic Data Systems, a billion dollar global IT outsourcing company, where he was responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of multiple plant IT systems. Mr.
Turley is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) having received his PMP certification from the University of Michigan at Dearborn.
