AMT Promotes Craig Salvalaggio to Engineering Manager

Salvalaggio previously held key management and leadership roles at AMT including engineering group leader, project manager and robotics engineer.

January 17, 2012 – Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) promoted Craig Salvalaggio to Engineering Manager for its General Industries Group. Salvalaggio's charter is to expand AMT's engineering and consulting services into the company's multiple non-automotive industries they support including aerospace, alternate energy, chemicals, food, fabricated metals and many more. Reporting to the President and CEO Michael Jacobs, Salvalaggio's responsibilities will include business development and all facets of operations for the General Industry Group. "Craig is an industry professional with over 9 years of robotic experience and truly has a passion for robotics," said Mike Jacobs, chief executive officer of Applied Manufacturing Technologies.

"While automotive applications are still a key focus for our business our expertise and knowledge are also in demand in many non-automotive industries. With his experience and drive Craig will be pivotal in growing our engineering and consulting services in these industries that we support." Salvalaggio previously held key management and leadership roles at AMT including engineering group leader, project manager and robotics engineer. He graduated from Lake Superior State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed graduate studies at Kettering University where he earned a MS in Operations Management and an MBA.
