October 10, 2007 - Animatics Corporation has announced that record sales and growth has required a move of its California Headquarters and US Factory into a new 104,000 sq. ft. facility in Santa Clara, California. This major expansion is the fifth in the last two years during which Animatics opened a new office in Rochester, NY, acquired two companies and opened one subsidiary in England, two subsidiaries in Germany and a regional office in Tokyo, Japan. The company started as a small CNC and General Automation machine builder in Silicon Valley 20 years ago that reinvested profits into R & D.
That R & D has resulted in a continuing stream of highly effective products and systems that have been defining the future of motion control for over 20 years. Still in central Silicon Valley, the larger facilities will allow Animatics' Production to keep pace with the rapidly expanding Integrated Motor Market as well as the integrated linear systems markets. This market consists of a growing array of Engineers and Machine Builders making the switch to single-component motion control systems called Integrated Motors, or in Animatics case, the patented servo versions called "SmartMotors."
While the manufacturing sector is still in the doldrums, Animatics and other Integrated Motor manufacturers continue to be fast growing because the technology of combining the controller, amplifier and motor has won global acceptance. Machine builders are now permitting themselves to enjoy the many benefits like faster development times and the dramatically improved reliability inherent to systems with reduced component counts. Animatics is the global leader in Integrated Servos and the expanded facilities are a key ingredient to the companys strategic plan. Additional new advanced high technology products and systems are expected to be announced shortly.
