Stacks, chimneys and other gas handling equipment can take all sorts of forms depending on the application, but a common element is the need for effective temperature measurement of the gas at various points in chimneys.

With so many variables, including furnace pressure, air-to-fuel ratio and controller stability, Anchor Glass knew it needed a new control system to better manage furnace operations. To help design the new system, Anchor Glass turned to Stone Technologies, a Rockwell Automation Solution Partner and member of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork program.
