April 9, 2013 - API Technologies announced the ION SA5600-SAL: Avaya SAL Edition is now Avaya Services Certified. The ION SA5600-SAL is a security appliance with an embedded Avaya Secure Access Link (SAL) Gateway that provides IP and secure dial-up connectivity to Avaya and heritage Nortel systems. It allows technicians, service providers, and support services to conduct remote troubleshooting and maintenance of critical systems. The appliance comes with a built-in modem for dial-up access and is available in a 2-, 4-, or 8-port model.
