The acquisition is effective immediately, and is expected to enhance AMT’s ability to meet growing customer demand for controls engineering, design, software and panel fabrication. “K-R has been one of the premier controls engineering companies in factory automation for over 50 years,” noted Mike Jacobs, president and CEO of AMT. “K-R’s customer-first culture and high caliber team will be a perfect fit with AMT’s existing controls business, our other automation engineering departments, and our core values and service ethic.
