ASIST terminal blocks accept wires equipped with ring tongue or spade terminals.

September 22, 2008 - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. has announced the introduction of the ASIST series of terminal blocks that accept wires equipped with ring tongue or spade terminals. With a current carrying bar over 75% bigger than the competition and UL 94V0 polyamide housing, these terminal blocks are great for many applications. Single and double level versions are available. The single level feed through terminal blocks come in a range that accepts wires from 26 AWG to 4 AWG with current ratings as high as 100 amps.

They are modular and mount onto the standard 35mm DIN rail and accept snap in makers for easy wire identification. These new modular blocks also accept a center-installed circuit bridge that can connect adjacent circuits. A double level version is available to save you space. For current transformer circuit or control loops, a sliding link version is available too. ASIST series includes combination head screws that accept both slotted and Philips screwdrivers.

For corrosion protection, the screw is nickel-plated. Flat and locking washers are standard to provide terminal contact and locking the connector in place. To save time, large marking strips provide easy labeling and snap onto the blocks in strips of 10.
