ASI announces Hazardous Location Cable Glands
EEx E and ATEX rated cable glands are available in metric or PG threads in a range from M16 to M25 and PG7 to PG29.

November 13, 2010 - Automation Systems Interconnect announced an addition to their cable gland line. ASI will now be offering EEx E and ATEX rated cable glands. Available in metric or PG threads in a range from M16 to M25 and PG7 to PG29. These hazardous location cable glands and strain relief fittings are made of high performance nylon and can be ordered in either blue or black colors. The operating temperature range is -25ºC to +90ºC.

In addition to the increased safety ratings, the ASI cable glands and strain reliefs for hazardous locations provide an ingress protection level of IP65, NEMA 4, and 4 X
