September 16, 2008 - Automation Systems Interconnect added improvements to its line of CSF power supplies. Compared to the previous model the new CSF series will save up to 30% more DIN rail space at only 1.53 inches wide for a 5 amp power supply. Included is short circuit, overload, over temperature, input/output overvoltage protections. In addition, there is a high outrush current to guarantee downstream blown fuse indication and to start-up heavy loads.
Controlled by a voltage threshold, all power supplies are equipped with an output voltage alarm contact that indicates when the voltage drops under 90% of the rated value. Another great feature is the status display indicator, the green LED indicates “DC OK” and the red LED indicates “Overload.” The new single phase units are available in 1 to 20 amp versions @ 24 Vdc with an adjustable range of 23-27.5 Vdc, 12-15 Vdc with an adjustable range of 12 -15 Vdc or 48 Vdc with an adjustable range of 45-55 Vdc. The input rated voltage range is 90-264 Vac or 100-370 Vdc.
As with all ASI power supplies the new CSF series operates extremely efficient up to 91%, this means the power supply will operate cooler and therefore last longer.ASI stands behind each power supply with a 5 year warranty and the new series is UL 508 listed with many other international agency approvals. The new CSF Power Supplies can be ordered along with other components Direct Online with savings of 20-50% .
