April 7, 2016– Automation Systems Interconnect introduces premium Industrial Ethernet Cat5e, Profinet and Cat6A cable rated for 600 Volt industrial applications. There are 11 different types of LANmark Industrial Ethernet Category bulk cable. Options include Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) or Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP), Standard-Flex or High-Flex (ideal for high volume repetitive movements), stranded or solid 24 AWG twisted pair conductors, as well as a 22 AWG version meeting Profinet specifications.
Outer jackets are available in both TPE (heavy duty) and PVC (medium duty) depending upon unique application requirements. All LANmark bulk cable meet UL Listings and combinations of UL444, UL1666, UL1685 and UL1688. Industrial Ethernet cable construction provides optimal performance results when dealing with requirements for greater electrical performance and avoids problems. Additionally issues such as heat, humidity and less than optimal cable termination practices are better addressed by the use of 24 AWG cable construction versus 26 AWG cable construction.
