The particular ATEX directive that the terminal blocks meet is “Directive 94/9/EC which covers equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive areas such as chemical plants. The ATEX certification covers both screw clamp control wiring and power terminal blocks along with ground terminal blocks.
These ATEX certified terminal blocks are available in sizes ranging from 5.5mm wide to 20.0 mm wide and accept wires from 30 AWG to 2/0.
