November - Carlisle, Pa - With a current rating up to 15 amps at 300 volts and a wiring capacity of 30 to 14 AWG, these micro miniature terminal blocks are available in single level, multiple wire and dual level designs. The ASIMT, ASIMTQUATTRO and ASIMTTB are very small terminal blocks that are mounted on the 15mm DIN rail and are ideal for applications where space in the enclosure is limited in all directions. The ASIMTQUATTRO is ideal for applications that call for the connection of multiple wires in one terminal block. This double terminal block has a wide spectrum of application possibilities because it has two connections, each for incoming and outgoing wires in addition to a bridging option.

The new ASI micro miniature terminal blocks are a part of the broad line of Phoenix Contact equivalent terminal blocks ASI is now offering. ASI is the first company to ever introduce terminal blocks that are identical equivalents to Phoenix Contact, Allen-Bradley and Weidmuller. The UL rated ASI terminal blocks and accessories are identical in color, design, dimensions, materials and specifications. With a broad range of terminal blocks and accessories, ASI has a terminal block for any of your application needs. Customers now have a true “equivalent” source and can save 30% to 50% and more by specifying the new equivalent terminal blocks on the website.

On the website there is a complete electronic cross-reference to Phoenix Contact, Weidmuller and Allen-Bradley along with prices and specifications. In addition, ASI provides rail assembly services to those companies that would prefer to purchase a fully completed assembly. The EZ Rail software program on the website assists the customer in developing a DIN rail terminal block assembly.

The new ASIUK5RETURN can be mounted almost directly up against the side of the panel or equipment wall thereby allowing for better utilization of space for other components in the system. Another option is to mount the ASIUK5RETURN in a double row configuration with the backs of the terminal blocks against each other which gives the customer the ability to have a considerable amount of wiring in a small amount of space. With this non-traditional design, the customer can now consider these and many other ways of laying a wiring panel that will best suit the application and make maximum use of the space allotted for wiring and other components.
