Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new series of Inductive Ring Sensors. The SIA series of Inductive Ring Sensors is ideal for use with metal parts manufacturing, such as with connector contacts, washers, or screws, as well as metal wires and chains. The sensing is done within the ring portion of the sensor, which is activated when a break or inconsistency in the metal is detected. The SIA sensors are available with rings of diameters from 5-100 mm, LED indication, and offer NPN or PNP output.

An on/off switch also enhances performance with small, fast-moving objects by creating a fixed timing impulse. The ring sensors also have an IP65 rating, a plastic housing, and have adjustable sensitivity. ASI’s inductive ring sensors, data sheets, technical specifications, “Special Internet” pricing, and availability can be found on the ASI website. A new easy-to-use selector guide is now available and all of the ASI sensors can be ordered Direct Online with a saving of 20 - 50%.
