Imagine having the ability to save space and reduce wiring time all in one terminal block! The NEW spring clamp terminal block, HMD.1, from ASI provides both of these great customer benefits. At only 4.2 mm wide and in a double level, the HMD.1 allows you to easily mount 72 individual terminal blocks in a space of 12 inches using standard DIN rail.

The HMD.1 features two individual circuits, one on top and one on the bottom thereby allowing 144 circuits or 288 wires to be terminated in one foot of panel space. The HMD.1 terminal block will accept up to a 14AWG wire and is rated at 17.5 amps, 500 volts.

The connection method used for this high-density terminal block is a spring clamp. The electrician inserts a screwdriver to open the clamp, places the wire and then releases the clamp to terminate the wire. The entire process takes a matter of moments, does not require screwing down a clamp and is very reliable under all types of applications.
