February 15, 2016 - AutomationDirect added a wide variety of wiring accessories including wire ferrules, disconnect terminals and crimp terminals. Available single and twin insulated wire ferrules are made of tin-plated copper. Single insulated ferrules, starting at $3.00 for a 100-pack, are designed to accommodate 20 to 1 gauge conductors; twin insulated ferrules, starting at $3.50 for a 100-pack, accommodate 20 to 6 gauge conductors.
Also available in 100-packs, starting at $7.50, crimp terminals include ring, fork and pin terminals, as well as butt connectors for 20 to 10 gauge conductors. Disconnect terminals for 20 to 10 gauge conductors are constructed from copper-enhanced PVC and brass. Offered in 100-packs starting at $6.50, disconnect terminals are available in male and female bullet, partially and fully insulated PVC female, partially insulated PVC male and partially insulated piggy back styles.
Four styles of crimping tools with two to five crimping positions have also been added with prices starting at $99.00.
