July 31, 2019 - AutomationDirect's ProSense universal input conditioners/isolators accept a range of RTD, thermocouple, resistance, potentiometer, mA or voltage inputs, and offer current, voltage and/or relay outputs with programmable ranges and functions. The ProSense conditioners operate on 21.6 to 253 VAC or 19.2 to 300 VDC supply voltage and provide 3-way isolation between input, output and power.
Two new signal conditioners are available. The SCU-8400 signal conditioner accepts unipolar and bipolar input signals up to +/-100 mA or +/-300 VDC with spans as low as 0.5 mA or 25 mVDC. The SCU-7900 AC RMS current / voltage input conditioner can accurately measure AC supply voltage up to 300 VAC RMS or AC current transformers up to 5A RMS.
Units are configured with an detachable LCD programming module that also displays the input signal value, engineering units, output signal and relay status. The 4-line display module can be moved from one module to another to download the configuration of the first transmitter to subsequent transmitters.
