July 16, 2012—Avid Solutions acquired a Brazilian system integration company, SPA Automação.
SPA was founded three years ago and has nine employees in their office near São Paulo. In this short time, SPA has built an extensive list of partners and clients. During the transition, it will be known as 'SPA Automação, an Avid Solutions company.' The acquisition increases the size, stability, and diversification for the combined companies and employees.

Avid has systematically expanded in the Southeastern United States with offices in Winston-Salem, Raleigh, and Atlanta, and is now poised to provide its expertise and solutions to the Brazilian marketplace.
