The TG Series provides a dependable solution for engineers, plant managers and process designers seeking accurate gas flow data in demanding environments.

July 15, 2025 - AW-Lake announces the launch of its TG Series Gas Turbine Flow Meter, marking the company’s first entry into turbine-based flow measurement for gases. Designed for precision, repeatability and durability, the TG Series provides a dependable solution for engineers, plant managers and process designers seeking accurate gas flow data in demanding environments. The TG Series is ideal for a wide of applications, including fuel gas monitoring for industrial burners and boilers, compressed air metering, CNG flow tracking and inert gas measurement in packaging and process systems. It also is an essential tool for test stand use in aerospace and automotive performance testing.

“Unlike thermal or differential pressure technologies, the TG Series stands out for its fast response time and exceptional repeatability,” said Bryan Lutkehaus, AW Lake, VP of Sales. “With a rugged stainless-steel construction and ±1.0% accuracy, it’s designed for environments where reliable gas flow data is mission-critical.” Key technical highlights:

  • Flow Ranges: 0.5 to 1250 ACFM
  • Accuracy: ±1.0% linearity; ±0.1% repeatability
  • Operating Pressure: Up to 15,000 psi
  • Temperature Range: -450°F to +450°F (up to 850°F with special coil)
  • Connections: Grooved, NPT, flanged, or wafer
  • Materials: 316 SS body, 17-4 PH rotor, 440C SS bearings
  • Certifications: CRN Certified, ISO 9001, NIST-traceable calibration

The TG Series is optimized for clean, dry gas applications and integrates seamlessly into systems that require dependable performance and long service life.
