June 26, 2013 –Axiomtek announces FDK191-832 open frame panel computer with an Intel Atom processor D2550 1.86 GHz with the Intel NM10 Express chipset. The FDK191-832 is equipped with a 19" SXGA TFT LCD with a resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. It is specially designed with bezel-less display which allows customers to design front bezel according to their application requirements. Additionally, a resistive touchscreen option is available for interactive user interface requirements.
Its ultra slim and sleek design takes up very little space. Powered by the latest Intel Atom processor D2550 (dual core, 1.86GHz), the FDK191-832 provides low power consumption and lower total cost of ownership for system integrators. The open frame panel computer offers an open frame architecture and has narrow bezel widths of 13 ~ 15 mm for easy fit. This rugged unit is designed with an ultra-slim outlook and a thickness of 63 mm only.
Additionally, it gives customers an option with touchscreen feature. The VR for brightness adjustment located on the back cover makes maintenance easier and faster. One PCIe Mini Card slot is standard for WiFi and 3G connection, or other 3rd party I/O cards. The FDK191-832 supports a convenient side access CompactFlash slot with protective cover, VESA/open frame mounting, and one 2.5” SATA HDD bracket for storage device.
The I/O connectivity includes four COM ports (COM1 - RS232-422/485), one 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, VGA, four USB 2.0 ports, and audio (Line-out). For WiFi and 3G connection, this slim unit incorporates a PCI Express Mini Card slot for expansion capability.
