Axiomtek, a designer and manufacturer of PC-based industrial computer products, introduced the CAPA880, a 3.5-inch embedded board designed to support LGA1150 socket for 4th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron processors (35W) with the Intel H81 chipset. The CAPA880 supports up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and offers SATA 3 interface, as well as an mSATA slot available on PCI Express Mini Card slot. The embedded board employs Intel integrated Gfx graphic engine and provides three display interfaces: HDMI, LVDS (18/24-bit single/dual channels) and VGA. It runs on +12V DC input and offers -20°C to 55°C support.
The 146 x 102mm embedded SBC is suitable for IoT/M2M-related, industrial control, digital signage, and more.
The Intel Core-based socket-type 3.5” embedded board comes with three I/O boards, the AX93262, AX93285 and AX93291, which provide system integrators with a less cabling solution.
The CAPA880 supports advanced connectivity such as one RS-232/422/485 port with +5V/+12V powered, one SATA-600 interface, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, HD audio, 8-CH DIO, and one full-size PCI Express Mini Card with mSATA, as well as an exclusive ZIO connector for I/O modules. To ensure reliable operation, the 3.5-inch embedded SBC supports watchdog timer and hardware monitoring features.
